a5c7b9f00b Sanjay Singhania is well known city businessman. But currently his memory last only for 15 minutes.Sunita a medical student and Inspector Arjun comes across his diary and find that.Sanjay was in love with a model Kalpana but he never disclosed about his wealth to her. They both were to get married. But Kalpana got killed by Ghajini Dharmatma another businessmanshe found about his human trafficking racket.Sanjay to was attacked in the mishap leaving him badly injured leading to his memory loss.Sanjay's only motive is to find Ghajini and kill him. Medical student, Sunita, is driven by curiosity to study the case of Sanjay Singhania, who is afflicted with short-term memory loss. She runs into him, befriends him, and finds out that he is out to kill a seemingly benevolent citizen, Ghajini Dharmatma. After warning the latter of the impending danger, she subsequently comes across a number of diaries written by Sanjay and attempts to put together a jigsaw puzzleto how a successful and wealthy businessman became a crazed recluse, who re-lives his past through tattoos on his body, notes and Polaroid photographs on the wall of his Hiranandani Complex flat, and his sole obsession of carrying out his deadly mission - little knowing that Ghajini and his goons are out to erase every bit of evidence he has gathered and thus ensure that he ends up remembering nothing. It is very pleasant to see, in the past decade, the Indian movies has raised themselves in standards. Ghajini definitely is one of the toughest project that Aamir khan would have done, there is no doubt in that. It is not always easy to remake a hit version and alter the storyline here and there and still come out good. It is only possible through the best men in the industry. And Aamir is THE best. ARRahman - WOW!!! He made the Kaise mujhe song echo in all the audience's heartthey leave the theater. Its like "Every night in my dreams" song from titanic. Soul touching performance from the music Guru!! Overall, this movie has to be watched for its storyline, humor, sentiment, twists. Overall Ghajini is a great entertainment-packed. Go! watch it today!!!! Ghajini mightwell qualify for a complete masala movie with action, revenge, drama, romance and very other element that a masala movie qualifies.

Aamir having quirky lines, Aamir having a combination of a look from Fanaawellthe Dil Chahta Hai. More than Asin or Jiah Khan's belly button flashing - you had Aamir Khan's flat stomach (not exactly 6 to 8 abs) being flashed more in all types of camera angles. I believe one song was particularly made for the flashing Aamir Khan's belly button.

Aye Bachchoo one of the songs in the movie where you have Asin being introduced in stylishly dressed in a Manish Malohtra attire had the sequences of Michael Jackson videos - just to name a few, "In the closet"; "All I want to say is that, they don't really care about us"; that face changing in "black or White". Honestly either I have been exposed to many entertainment options and have been observing to intently to realize that you are being inspired. In another song - Bahkha, you have six Aamir Khan's wooing Asin. As if one was not good enough, then of course Johnny Depp did the same thing in the last of the trilogy of Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End.

Just to highlight the story, without any spoilers in it, Sanjay Singhania played by Aamir Khan, is a rich businessman who owns a cellular phone company named Air Voice. Kalpana played by Asin Thottumkal, an advertisement model goes around telling her advertisement crew that she is the love interest of Sanjay, in spite of her having never met him and also goes to the extent of giving an sheer conincidence an interview with a very local newspaper called Mayapuri about her relationship Sanjay.

Sanjay happens to hear about this through the media and wants to settle scores with her.(Here, i love the part when they are trying to sell the sensational news item on a television commercial, also highlighting that if you buy the latest Mayapuri for the gossip, you will also get two packets of pav bhaji masala.)

Jiah Khan comes quiet later in the story but upfront in the movie. First it was Amitabh Bachchan and now it is Aamir Khan, will she be lucky enough to be part any other Shahrukh Khan movie… let's see?

Once the love angle is happening, Kalpana saves a group of girls who being part of a flesh trade racket, for which the goons are after her…in between somewhere, Sanjay out his memory and can with hold it for memories for 15 minutes and then you have a new Aamir Khan or Sanjay in case of Ghajini, again. Gold fish could porbably be better at it, that reminds me, let's me try and list some top of mind amnesia based movies -

* Finding Nemo (hilarious, can keep watching everyday, Dory was cute), * 50 First Dates (Romantic Comedy, once it OK, Adam Sandler was good, so was Drew Barrymore), * then you have the Bourne series - Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum (action oriented, all of them worth once, Supremacy also features Goa), * Memento (Aamir said don't compare), * Ghajini (what can i say, please continue reading…)

My other problem in the movie is that the songs at a drop of a hat, which were completely unwanted, unrequired, unstorylike. If you have already seen Taare Zameen Par, the songs were to completely make your heart bleed and reach out and connect with the character. Damn, another comparison. I probably was unable to fathom was that was the director trying to make an action? thriller? romantic? animated? Oh yes, he has really used the animation (not cartoon types) also in the movie, it did leave the monotony of the storyline, like the starting credits was just decent, but then it got boring. Another animation where you have a private jet flying over dark clouds, which I just cannot remember the movie. Then you have unnecessary and over doing use of jerky camera moments. Dripping of water sound was constantly being used throughout the movie detonating probably nothing. The movie scenes had really dramatic long pauses between Aamir Khan and Asin, where i was trying to peep into my neighbors Nokia camera phone to know what time it was?

The villain was not at all menacing enough and took the protagonist and his illness too much for granted, which was completely uncalled for. He reminded me of Goga Kapoor. Coming to the action sequences, it was more dramatic, than action. Plus the movie should not have extended to 180 minutes could have been finished in around two and half hours.

I am so glad i didn't get the Ghajini haircut done, at first it was like it is the only other movie releasing of Aamir Khan, so should get the hair cut done, then i saw a group of street children begging at a signal with having the same hair cut. Thumbs Down to the idea of the hair cut. Then , i saw how Aamir Khan was promoting the movie, by giving the hair cut to one and all, then i go for it again, then i had to watch the movie, for sure it i love my hair, so no Ghajini hair cut. The good part of the movie watching experience was that i could hear hooting and clapping when movie started, Aamir Khan makes an entry in a multiplex. My rating to the movie is one and half stars!! Since i was hoping for much more and there was much more desired in the movie and much more desired in Aamir Khan, especially with better movies than this.
